4th of July

Well we didn't do a whole lot on the 4th, but it was a fun day. In the evening we meet up with our friends Zane and Callie and their cute boys to play at the park and wait for the fireworks. Here are the following pictures of us all waiting. I had to entertain the kids by taking a ton of pictures and letting them take pictures too so they wouldn't run off in the dark.

The boys waiting...

Pierce... what a cute baby.

Mayer trying to run off.

Callie and Zane and their cute boys.

The one moment the boys were nice to each other.

Cory and Mayer being cute.

Me with Pierce and Jovin... Mayer took the picture.

I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th. We sure did. :)

Jovin turns 4!!!

Well it has been a long time since I've posted anything... Well with packing and moving I finally found the camera and the cord to connect it to the laptop to download the pictures. So here we go!

Jovin had a wonderful birthday. He had been waiting for his birthday and his party for a LONG time. Ever since Mayer's birthday he's been asking when his was. He got to open some presents in the morning, then pretty much do whatever he wanted the rest of the day.

That night we went to the park to have his birthday party. He invited his favorite friends to come and play with him. The kids played on the playground while the adults sat and chitchatted. (That was nice.) :)

With everything going on with packing up the house and everything I didn't have it in me to make him the Mickey Mouse cake that he wanted. I knew that when I did a Spongebob cake last year I was only setting my self up to disappoint every year after. I'll have to really try next year. Hopefully we won't be moving and I KNOW I won't be pregnant next year. :)

Here's the cake, pretty sad huh? I doesn't help that stupid Phoenix is so hot that the frosting melted. That's why the cake looks pathetic.

Anyway, I can't believe my little Mr. Man is the big 0-4! :) He is such a big helper to me with his younger brothers. I love playing games with him and reading books. He is really smart and a joy to have in our family. We love you Jovin!! :)

Over the Years

So today is our 6 year anniversary. I did a little formula for Cor about our anniversary but apparently it doesn't work, but I'll let you all know what it is.

1 wedding + 2 pets + 3 kids + 4 moves + 5 cars = 6 years of marriage. :)

I thought it was creative... know i know 1+2+3+4+5 does not equal 6. I know it equals 15. I just didn't want all of you to think that I was that dumb. :)

Anyway... here are some pics of us over the past 6 years.

New Things We Learned Today

We've learned a few new things from Jovin today...

After church I asked him what he learn in Primary. Here is the following conversation:
Me: What did you learn in Primary today Jovin?
Jovin: We looked for the Holy Ghost.
Me: Where did you find the Holy Ghost?
Jovin: He was hiding behind the piano.

Lesson #1: The Holy Ghost can be found behind the piano.

We were getting ready for dinner here's a conversation between Jovin and Cory.
Jovin: I want to play hide and seek.
Cory: We'll play after dinner. Jovin, my tummy is saying it's really hungry and that it wants me to feed it. It's saying, feed me.
Jovin: Well my tummy says it wants to play hide and seek.

Lesson #2: Jovin's tummy can play hide and seek.

While we were fixing dinner Star Wars (the good episodes IV - VI) was on tv. While Cory was loading the dishwasher Jovin asked him to come sit with him. Cory went and sat next to Jovin on the couch and Jovin pointed to the tv and said, "I love this show!"

Lesson #3: Jovin really is OUR child if he can sit and watch Star Wars and know after 15 minutes that he loves the show. :)

Killpack Family Reunion 2009

The past week we have been in St. George, Utah with the Killpack side of the family for a family reunion.

We left last Friday and headed up to St. George through Las Vegas. NEVER AGAIN!!! We got stuck yet again at that stupid Hoover Dam!! It took us and hour and a half to go 5 miles!! That's just ridiculous! Anyway, we finally got to the condo around 9pm and as soon as we got there Mayer puked... yuck. At least he waited until we were there. His car seat still smells like Goldfish and Sunny D though...

Saturday we all headed out to go on a hike in Snow Canyon. I thought this was a weird name for a canyon that is in St. George and rarely sees any snow I thought it was for ironic reasons it was named that. Cor then told me it was named after President Lorenzo Snow. Boy do I feel dumb! That makes a lot more sense. Once we were all there it started to rain so we drove through the canyon and decided to eat our packed lunches in our cars. Once the rain let up the kids went and played on the sand dunes. (Sorry no pics of that cause I was in the car with Pierce. It was too cold and I left his, and Mayer's jackets in Phoenix. So Mayer was wearing my hoodie and Pierce and I warmed up in the van.)

Sunday we went to church and then spent the afternoon relaxing, playing on the playground and enjoying some yummy food.

The family relaxing.

Chad, Angie & Abby during "craft time" on Sunday.

Jenn making her delicious rolls for dinner.

Mayer on the swings.

Jovin on the swings.

Anna on the swings.

William playing in the sand.

Abby barefoot and in the water.

Anna and Mayer playing on the playground.

Monday we went to the St. George temple and walked the grounds and took pictures of our families on the temple steps. We then went to a museum that had dinosaur tracks that were found in Washington, Utah. It was really cool.

Our little family.

Some of the family on the steps.

Tuesday after breakfast half the family headed home. I (Ang) went golfing with some friends, thanks again Ray, Greg and Penny! Cor and the boys played on the playgrounds and went swimming. We then went to dinner with the rest of the family and hung out.

We drove home on Wednesday. We went home through Vegas, but went to Laughlin, Nevada, instead of the stupid Hoover Dam. It only took 7 1/2 hours and that was with stopping for lunch for 45 minutes. Not too bad. I still think next time we'll go the Flagstaff way. :)

We were really glad to be able to spend time with the Killpack family. The boys really enjoyed playing with everyone, and seeing Grandma. They still ask if they can go swimming and play with their cousins. :) We miss everyone. Thanks for the fun and all the wonderful memories.

Whoa!

Well this weekend we painted the inside of our house. No more individual colors for each room. They ALL look the same now. I miss my purple room. :( Anyway, Cor's mom came down to help us out and get it all done in 2 days. Boy were we tired! :) But we got it done! Yea! Thanks for all the help Mum! :) Also, thanks to our WONDERFUL friends who helped us out by taking our boys for two days, and our other friends who took them another evening so we could get their rooms put back together. :) You guys are the BEST and we owe you both BIG time!! :)

On Easter the boys went in the back yard and did an Easter Egg hunt. They loved it. Once Jovin realized that there was candy in the eggs, he proceeded to just open the eggs he collected already to get the candy out.

On Monday since we got all the painting done Mum and I took the boys to the zoo. It was fun. They have a new splash park there and the boys LOVED it! It has a little wade river going around the whole thing then the little fountains, but the really cool part was the cave. It has slides that go from the outside to the inside, then from the inside to the outside. It has a waterfall inside and stalagmites, and stalactites too. It's pretty cool.

I know I already posted pics of me and the boys on the carousel from the last post, but MY mom said I looked like I didn't have any hair. (I do it was pulled back in a ponytail.) So these are mainly for her so she can see that YES, I am still blonde and I do have hair and it is getting longer. :) Enjoy Mom. :)

Two Kids and the Zoo...

Last Friday I took Jovin and Mayer to the zoo. Oh, boy was that fun. :) Jovin does really well staying near me and I never have to chase after him anymore. So I put Mayer in the stroller, it was almost nap time anyway so I figured he'd sleep in the stroller. Boy was I wrong. He wanted to walk around like Jovin. So I figured if I let Mayer walk around for a while he'll get really tired and want to ride in the stroller. Wrong again! He walked the whole time we were at the zoo. :) He stayed near me and held hands with Jovin too. It was really cute.

They went and played on the little playground they had there. It was cute, I think they did that longer than the time we spend looking at animals. :)

We got to ride on the carousel too. It was pretty windy there and they closed it after our ride. I'm glad they waited until we rode, cause I promised the boys we'd ride it before we left the zoo. :)
It was fun, we missed Cor and Pierce they were spending some time at home. :) We'll take them with us next time. :)

On the way home we got stuck in traffic. It was really upsetting to Jovin. He kept telling me to go faster and move into another lane so we could go faster. I'm a little concerned about when he gets to the age to drive. I think he'll have some road rage problems. :) This is a pic of him yelling at the drivers around us to "Get out of my Momma's way!" (Isn't he sweet!)

Then the last 20 minutes home they both crashed. :) Ah, the quiet part of the trip. :)

Sunday Best

It's not that often that I can get a picture of the boys, all dressed up and cute, before we rush out the door to get to church on time. Actually, Cor took these pictures while I was trying to finish getting ready. Aren't they handsome!?! I'm not sure why Pierce is fully dressed and in the baby tub, you'll have to ask Cor about that. :)
