The Many Faces of Pierce

Well I realized that it has been over a month sine I posted a picture of Pierce. He is SO cute! I know I'm totally biased and all, but he has the best facial expressions for a 2 month old. And these aren't even half of the expressions that I get all day long. Now the pictures are in chronological order so the top was about a month ago and the last was a couple of days ago... ENJOY!

I don't know if you noticed but most of these he seems to be scowling at the camera, or well me actually I get that look most of the day... I'm not quite sure what that is about.

Table Buddies

Well, we finally got Mayer out of his highchair. We got him a booster seat and he now can eat right next to Jovin. Mayer was really excited the first time they had lunch together. Then later that night they had a food fight with each other. Cory then asked me if we really want to have Mayer out of the highchair or not. It has been a couple of weeks now and they are doing a lot better. It keeps the mess to at least one side of the table.
This is Mayer feeding himself a yogurt. Boy doesn't he look proud of himself?? Yeah, he got a bath right after this picture was taken cause the yogurt was EVERYWHERE!!!

Saturday at the Zoo

So it has been a long time since I have posted anything... I know I'm terrible! We have done some exciting things.
We went to the zoo one Saturday and Jovin got to ride on the merry-go-round. He was so excited to finally go on it, and I took him up to pick an animal to ride on and he got scared. Why? Well it didn't help that every animal on the stupid merry-go-round looked as if it was ready to eat you. They all had their mouths open and teeth barred. When I would try and suggest and animal to sit on he told me they were "scary". I finally got around to the side with the giraffe. Luckily he didn't look ready to eat us and I got him on it. Unfortunately he didn't go up and down. He was the ONLY one that didn't move. Oh well, Jovin was so distracted by the other animals surrounding him he didn't notice that he wasn't going up and down. He finally really started to enjoy the ride by the time it was over... hopefully next time he will pick one that isn't too scary for him and he can go up and down while spinning around.

Then the boys (Cory, Jovin and Mayer) spent some time in a big play house with slides at he zoo while I fed Pierce.

We went pretty early to the zoo that day so by 10ish it was over 100 degrees so we went home to cool off.
