Utah Trip 2009 Week 2

So we planned on our little trip to Utah being only a week. But, we found out our nephew was being baptized the next Saturday, and there were still some family and friends that we wanted to visit with. So we decided to stay another week. Also, I had nothing really waiting for me in Phoenix but 115F temps, and mosquitoes with bugs at our townhouse we are temporarily in right now. That didn't make me want to rush home. Don't get me wrong, I missed Cory, a lot! Cory flew home again Sunday night so he could work another 4 days of 10 hours and fly back to Utah Thursday night. (He was a great for working 3 weeks of 4, 10 hour days.) Also, thanks to our wonderful friends who picked him up at the airport and dropped him off too. :)

So this week we were relaxing and visiting friends and family some more. We got to see our nephew get baptized. (Yea for Orson!!) and then we drove home on Sunday August 1st. Only took about 9 1/2 to 10 hours. Yea! That was mostly cause from Page, Arizona to Phoenix, I apparently rode the butt of a white Lincoln Navigator. (My apologizes to whoever that was... I just really wanted to make it home and traffic was being stupid on the way home. Whoever it was, was going as fast as I wanted to be going so I wouldn't let anyone cut in between us and slow me down.) Sorry but 750 miles with 3 kids and being pregnant... You'd probably ride someones butt too if you wanted to really be home already and you were the one driving. :)

Thanks to everyone, family and friends, for taking the time to spend with us while we were up in Utah. We were grateful to get to see and spend time with everyone. If we missed family and friends, (which I know we did,) I'm sorry, we tried, but we'll have to try next time. :) Anywho... here are the pics of week 2. Enjoy! :)

Utah Trip 2009 Week 1

Okay so I have been home from our 2 week (which was gonna be 1 week) trip to Utah for over a week now. I'm finally getting things settled and am ready to blog about the trip... I'm just gonna let ya know now... most of this will be pictures. :) Enjoy!

We drove up to Utah on July 17th and made it in about 11 hours That was with 2 stops for lunch and dinner which were almost an hour each. NO we did not go though Vegas, which means no Hoover Dam. Yea! It obviously made a HUGE difference. :) Cory flew home Sunday night to Phoenix to go back to work and the rest of us had some fun. He flew back up Thursday night. Here are some pictures of what we did that week.
