Halloween 2009

Our new ward had their "Trunk or Treat" last night. So the boys got to wear their Halloween costumes a little early this year.

Jovin LOVES to play Mario Kart on the Wii and he is REALLY good at it. So this Halloween when I asked him what he wanted to dress up as I shouldn't have been surprised that he wanted to be Mario. He then talked Mayer into being Luigi. I know it would have been more appropriate to have Jovin as Luigi since he is taller but since he is older and actually cares about dressing up as someone for Halloween I didn't push the issue.

They were a hit at the ward party. Everyone including the other kids loved that Mario and Luigi were there. Eeyore was a hit too. Pierce was just too cute as my little Eeyore. :)

Much thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Johnson for finding overalls that will fit the boys and helping get their costumes ready. With us moving and living down here in Phoenix overalls were hard to find. :)

Utah Trip 2009 Week 2

So we planned on our little trip to Utah being only a week. But, we found out our nephew was being baptized the next Saturday, and there were still some family and friends that we wanted to visit with. So we decided to stay another week. Also, I had nothing really waiting for me in Phoenix but 115F temps, and mosquitoes with bugs at our townhouse we are temporarily in right now. That didn't make me want to rush home. Don't get me wrong, I missed Cory, a lot! Cory flew home again Sunday night so he could work another 4 days of 10 hours and fly back to Utah Thursday night. (He was a great for working 3 weeks of 4, 10 hour days.) Also, thanks to our wonderful friends who picked him up at the airport and dropped him off too. :)

So this week we were relaxing and visiting friends and family some more. We got to see our nephew get baptized. (Yea for Orson!!) and then we drove home on Sunday August 1st. Only took about 9 1/2 to 10 hours. Yea! That was mostly cause from Page, Arizona to Phoenix, I apparently rode the butt of a white Lincoln Navigator. (My apologizes to whoever that was... I just really wanted to make it home and traffic was being stupid on the way home. Whoever it was, was going as fast as I wanted to be going so I wouldn't let anyone cut in between us and slow me down.) Sorry but 750 miles with 3 kids and being pregnant... You'd probably ride someones butt too if you wanted to really be home already and you were the one driving. :)

Thanks to everyone, family and friends, for taking the time to spend with us while we were up in Utah. We were grateful to get to see and spend time with everyone. If we missed family and friends, (which I know we did,) I'm sorry, we tried, but we'll have to try next time. :) Anywho... here are the pics of week 2. Enjoy! :)

Utah Trip 2009 Week 1

Okay so I have been home from our 2 week (which was gonna be 1 week) trip to Utah for over a week now. I'm finally getting things settled and am ready to blog about the trip... I'm just gonna let ya know now... most of this will be pictures. :) Enjoy!

We drove up to Utah on July 17th and made it in about 11 hours That was with 2 stops for lunch and dinner which were almost an hour each. NO we did not go though Vegas, which means no Hoover Dam. Yea! It obviously made a HUGE difference. :) Cory flew home Sunday night to Phoenix to go back to work and the rest of us had some fun. He flew back up Thursday night. Here are some pictures of what we did that week.

Pierce Turns 1!!

Our cute 1 year old!

Well today our little/big Chunkers turned 1. I can't believe it has been a year already. I'm realizing now with him being my 3rd and being pregnant with my 4th that time is flying by already!!

Well Pierce had a pretty good day. He got to do pretty much what he wanted except for the times Mayer pushed him down or Jovin stole his toy. But other than that I think he enjoyed his 1st birthday.

I've come to the conclusion to just do cupcakes for their 1st birthday... They're just gonna poke at it and not eat it anyway. Jovin and Mayer wouldn't have anything to do with their 1st birthday cakes.

Boy was I wrong. See I seemed to forget that Pierce will eat just about anything. He devoured his cupcake. He loved every bite and second of it.

We are so lucky to have Pierce in our lives. He is such a wonderful spirit. He's a VERY happy baby... VERY mellow too. The only time he gets fussy is if he's really hungry or really tired. (or Mayer pushes him down... that just started this week.) Jovin and Mayer are always excited to play with him when he wakes up, and they love to help me and Cory teach him to walk... which he is doing now btw... he's just not wanting to do it much, but he can. :)

Happy Birthday Pierce, we sure love you!! :)
