Oregon Sunset
After our fun afternoon at the beach we ate at a cute cafe that is right on the beach front. This is a picture Cory took while we were eating dinner.

Well we had a wonderful time in Oregon. Cory's interviews in San Diego and Portland went well and we are just waiting to hear back from them. So it's the waiting game now. Here we are at the beach in Oregon. Jovin didn't like it so much it was kind of cold and really breezy. But it was beautiful, and fun just the same.

Learning new things...
Well we've really been working on Jovin to practice rolling over. He has a little friend in the ward that is 2 weeks older than him that is putting Jovin to shame in the rolling over subject. Of course Jovin has a good 5 pounds on his friend. Jovin is getting better at it. He already likes "tummy time" but it is a little bit hard to throw his 14lbs around. In the following 3 pictures you can see how things went over about a 5 minute period.

Look at me Ma!
Jovin is starting to learn how to roll... he is so tubby now that it is hard to lug that weight from his back to his tummy, and tummy to his back. He does like "tummy time" though... I did get a picture of him smiling but the picture was blurier than this one. But I like this picture too. He is just so cute!!!
Nappy time with blanket
Well Jovin is now 3 months old! He is growing so fast that he has been in his 3 to 6 month clothing for 2 weeks now. I was playing "peek-a-boo" with him and the blanket he is holding... and well he fell asleep. I guess I'm just not that entertaining with "peek-a-boo". I bored him to sleep.
He is such an active baby that Jovin likes to play with Mom and Dad, play with his stuffed animals, play with his aquarium toys, he likes to watch Toy Story and Ice Age (which is great so mom can take a shower while he is entertained for a while...), he also likes to sing along with his mom when she is singing to the radio. I think he is actually trying to tell me that I'm not on key and to stop singing and just listen to the radio... cause he "sings" louder that me at times. :^)

Labor Day nap
Well we had a very relaxing day yesterday. Cory worked on homework and well Ang and Jovin... took a nice relaxing nap. Cory thought it would be fun to take a picture them napping... Ang didn't think so... but it is a cute picture.

Jovin 2 months check up
Well here is the little guy on the day of his 2 month check up. He is now 12lbs 9oz, and 25 1/2 inches long!!!! He got his shots today and boy was he grumpy!! He finally fell alseep to take a nap and he look grumpy even while he slept. Mom did okay with the shots... mainly cause she wasn't the one getting the shots. Jovin cried (like all babies do...) but Mom was strong and tried to comfort him the best she could. Now a week later Jovin is back to normal. No more grumpiness. Just the happy-go-lucky baby his always is.

Jovin Blessing Outfit
Well yesterday was Jovin's Baby Blessing. Cory did a wonderful job. We were so excited to have our family and friends there to share in this wonderful experience with us. Here is Jovin in his cute little blessing outfit. You can't really see the bowtie very well, but it's there.

Camping Trip 2005
Well we just went on our frist camping trip with Jovin. We went to Heber, Utah for Kuzin's Kampout. (It is a family camping tradition on Cory's side of the family.) It was a lot of fun. Jovin did reall well. It wasn't too cold and he slept most of the night. We made sure of that if you look at the picture above. We didn't get too many bug bites... Jovin - none, Ang - two, and well Cory - too many on his legs to count. For some reason they really liked Cory. So all, in all our first family camping trip was a total blast! We all had fun and can't wait to go again. Of course it will be a lot more fun when Jovin is older.

Monkey Face
Well here is the famous "monkey face" he makes at me during the day.. so that is the nick name I gave Jovin... He's mommy's monkey face and daddy's baby raptor. Jovin makes the coolest sound and Cory thinks it sounds like a raptor.
He is now 5 weeks old and doing great!! Not getting much sleep at night, but what else should you expect with 5 week old.
Too Tired to Play
Well we were on the floor having a lot of fun playing with the bunny... and some one fell asleep... it was 9:00 at night... but still... the bunny wanted to keep playing.

Happy 4th!!!
Well we had a fun 4th of July! We went to the summer bowling league that I do with my mother-in-law every Monday. I didn't do so well... Then we went to the Sandy and saw my sister Makayla be in the parade. It was also my mother's birthday.
